When you're working towards a higher degree, study time is of the utmost importance. Working full-time hours can be challenging in my opinion.

Would you prefer to keep a job making $25,000 per year, part time that you've had a few years, even if it means managing expenses closely the next four years, or would you accept full time hours at $50,000 per year, plus bonuses, with more responsibility to have more money now?

I've noticed that most people who accept more money for longer hours while in school, rarely complete their degree, but I'm sure there are some people who do.

My opinion would be based on full time job duties. If it's mindless (to you ) and does not take and extensive amount of thought, then yeah. make the more money. then all you would be giving up is a few years of keg parties.
If the job is more demanding, then no. Part time is the way and hold your course. It is better sense to make ends meet now and not suffer later. Jobs come and go, but the education is the thing that keeps you finding work if the need arises.
Have to ask yourself this, is the 50,000 a year position something that would be worth not finishing school for? Can it guarantee that you will still be there 15 years from now?
I think those two questions will give you the answer you need.
Good luck.

Well I worked part time and got my degree finished faster and made a four point. Then I got a job that paid twice as much as the higher paying full time job I could have had during college.

The degree will get you further faster than the full time job will.

Opinion, may very from person to person !
Working part-time for just managing to make two ends meet, and completing your studies, and than start earning at higher rate by working from a higher 'plate form', and get compensated faster in life, is certainly a better choice.

You or any body else, has all the freedom to choose, what ever they get attracted or interested in.

Completing the degree faster, as planed initially is certainly a better choice, than compromising in early years of life.

You need to do alot of thinking. This is quite a decision only you can make. Gosh, i cant even begin how to determine what I would do in your case. But whatever the decision is, I wish you the best of all youre striving for. bettyk
