I have been offered a position at another company that pays more money than my current position. However, in my current position, I have more power than I ever had, they like me and I enjoy the work I am doing. The new job would involve doing work I don't enjoy and I would probably be micro managed. More money is definitely tempting - I don't know what to do?

If it pays a LOT more money, I'd be inclined to change jobs.

don't take a job you're going to hate just because of money.

sure money is great no doubt about that but it's not worth it when it's just going to make you upset in the end.

Money can't buy happiness. Sorry!

But if you're in a jam with money and need it, than take the job, personally I wouldn't unless I really needed the cash but than again I think I'd still rough it out because I love my career owning a day care.

If you are that much happier doing what you are doing, stay where you are. More pay at a job you hate is just misery. Job satisfaction goes a long way in making your whole life seem better. Good Luck in your decision.

Ah-- do something you enjoy!

Money isn't everything. You should like what you do.

Plus, having power is the greatest feeling ever.

If you enjoy your job, it is not like work. Stay where you are happiest and you will have a happier and longer life.
