"Tell me a little about yourself"

"What can you contribute to this company"
"Why did you leave your last job"
"What would your last boss or co-workers say about you"
"What are your strenghts and weaknesses"

i found an ad in the paper for a vet clinic seeking a vet receptionist, experience preferred but not required. i have 5 years of customer service experience and volunteer work at a clinic and a dog ranch. i have no experience as a receptionist or in an actual vet clinic working. everytime i apply for something like this i get turned down because someone with experience comes along and gets the job. there are no vet receptionist programs in my local area, what can i do to gain experience for this position? i want to work in a vet clinic as a receptionist and or assistant, no school are close by. how can i get my foot in the door and get the job? should i callback in a few days after i took my resume over or wait for them to call me (if they ever do) help!!

I had a job interview at an open house yesterday. The gentleman who interviewed me seemed very impressed, took lots of notes, and we had an easy going interview. He told me that I should get a call back by the end of the week. He even recommended that i go for the higher paying position stating that it would be a better fit and also the company needed people to fill the position urgently. So did I get the job? I know he said that someone should call back but I can't help but worry about a job that could change my career and financial situation. Also should I send a thank you letter via email or would it be better by mail? Thanks a bunch!

I'm almost 20 years old, I've travelled across the world, taught in China for a year, graduated school with honors and obtained a senior position with a financial institution already. I'm getting bored with life because I've accomplished so much already. For most people my age, they are too preoccupied with drinking and partying.. but I'm wanting to jump into life. I don't desire a husband or children at this point.. and I've been with the same boyfriend for 3 and a half years and we're as happy as possible at this point guess. Is it silly to want to start looking for a home to purchase? I work for a credit union and it won't be hard to secure the finances needed to do this.

I just wanted to know I went to a on-site screening at starbucks and felt very disappointed that I know for a fact I didnt get the job. When I was being interviewed I noticed that the interviewer spent less than 5 minutes, while other interviewers where asking questions to the candidates as to hear their response and scenerio's. It look bad and I felt a little embarrassed how quick it was. The other people where there before me and I left before them. I just dont think I got the job. Is that a good sign or bad???

I have 160 employees and some employees every month need duplicates of the last months paycheck stubs. They are accessible online, but the employees will not use the website, they will say the website doesnt work when it works perfectly. It is really out of hand and they want it all done for them. So i wanted to find out some legal stuff. I was told that some companies charge their employees and that by law we are not required to give them copies. What is your advise?

HELP people in need (such as third world).

For example, Angelia Jolie's career is an actress and use her high salary to help poor people inside and outside the USA.

Although I am not an actor, I am excel in adaemic (takin' AP courses) and I can use that advantage for my future career.

I tried think of some kind of career that you can make alot of money and help people in need at same, but there is seems nothing such as this career.

Any ideas what kind of major should study or type of career you know?

Please help me!

FYI, I'm high school senior.
