Okay, it is job opening and hiring month. I have lot of jobs that I submitted interview. On one hand, I want this job, but on the other hand, I don't want to lose that one because I don't get this one. Should I wait for this job to call me to make decison. I mean the choice sometimes is not up to ours.. How do you decide what to pick from. By the way, I don't have any interview yet. But when I do, I may be afraid I am missing out some good ones by making wrong decision. What's your thought on this?

I gradauted last may with a bachelors of science in business administration with an option in management information systems, and a minor in information technology. My GPA is 3.0/4.0. I've been employed as a VoIP/Computer Technician since graduation. I am really considered becoming an officer in the armed forces, preferably the Air Force, but after reading how its getting harder to get into a OTS or OCS, I'm wondering if I would even get in. I haven't taken the military entrance exam yet, wil try in the next month or two, the only thing i have to go on is that i scored a 24 on the ACT in high school. What would be the best approach for improving my chances? More schooling? More work experience? Going enlisted first? Sorry for the bombardment of questions.

If 5 people apply for a teacher position at a public school....all 5 get interviewed....3 have teacher certification, another one does not have a teaching certificate.

After the intreview....HR wants to hire the person without teacher certification....

Is there a law that states that HR must hire a person with a teacher certificate before they can hire one without?

Would it be any different if the person is working towards a teaching certificate?

Would it be any different if the school was a 4201 school (i.e. school for the deaf or blind)

I am looking for an answer that is strictly NY State Law based. What does the Law dictate of New York State. Please explain your answers in depth.

Thank you for your time and consideration! I look forward to hearing from you all.

I work in an office for my uncle. I am 21 years old but I do not drive (yes I know I really need to get my license). Well because I do not drive I depend on my father to bring me into work. I get there on time every other day except friday because friday is his day off. I usually arrive to work 20 minutes late which bothers me so much. The people that I work with already expect that I will be late. I am not sure if it is the proper thing to call them before I leave or to just leave. I don't seem to think that me calling them will help them in anyway. What is the proper thing to do?
