I was fascinated with high finanace when I was in high school, and I wanted to be an investment banker. So I went to university got myself an economic degree, and a job in finance. Now that I work in the industry and getting ready for my MBA, I realise this isn't what I want, I don't want to help rich people get richer, I want to help people.

I have never recieved unemployment before. I live in Illinois and my question is what kind of offenses will you have to make in the workplace and get fired for them and have the government deny you unemployment benefits. What if you apply and your old job fights it? Can you quit a job and get unemployment benefits? What happens with health insurance? Thanks.

Im going for a group interview pretty soon and I would like to know what are the most frequent and top questions that they always ask? What do they look for in the group interview? Do they care how you answer the question whether its good or bad, or are they mostly into your looks? Were the questions mostly based on diversity and teamwork or other stuff? The discount that you get while working there, can you use it at any
A & F store, or only at the store you work at?

am 21 i'll be 22 in a couple of months i feel so lost i have been out of high school for almost 3 years i've done a year of city year and worked 2 years i am thinking about going to college but feel that i am too old to be starting college i sould be in my 3 or 4 year will it be weird because of my age will it be differant because of my age i also have felony for robbery and feel a degree would be a waste of time because i will be unable to get a good job i feel ending my life will end all my worries

This is also in relation to my last question regaring one of my employees drinking on thie job. I have called Labor Commision and they referred me to OSHA and now OSHA doesnt understand why I am calling them about one of my employees drinking? No one seems to know who I contact about this. Basically this is the situation:
1) employee drinks/i am the manager who isnt allowed to perform like a manager due to bosses micro-managing me
2)my bosses turn away and do not respond when I bring this up to them and have actually stated "there is nothing wrong with a drink or two and driving"
3) my customers and other employees see him and can smell the alcohol
4) I am wanting to put in my two week notice immediately but afraid that might jepordize getting this taken care of or if it does come to surface and I am gone , I get dragged into this.

Do I just need to call and find a laywer tomorrow? I am mentally stressed about this and cannot take it anymore!

I have been a receptionist going on 1 year, this is the first job that has made my self esteem hit rock bottom. They expect me to screen every call, most of the calls are bill collectors or sales. Can somebody tell me what is the best way to answer the phones and sound professional. I just feel stupid, or maybe its the people I work with that do this to me, I really hate saying all the time after the greeting "may I ask who is calling" sometimes the same person will call maybe 10 times a week but Im not sure if it is Fred or Charlie or whoever. Most of the time my co-workers dont want to take the call, then I have to lie. I wish they could be in my shoes.
