I'm a graduate of medicine but have not yet taken the board exam, i just needed the extra money.The employer has no problem hiring me, but students may expect an M.D. This is just a part time job

You do not need an M.D. to teach First AID and CPR, you do need certification and a bachelor's degree though. Check your state's requirements at your local Red Cross chapter.

You do not have to be a doctor to teach CPR and first aid, but you do have to be certified by the American Red Cross as a teacher if your students expect to be certified themselves. It wouldn't be a bad idea to be certified anyway just to protect yourself against lawsuits if one of your students tries to use the CPR and something goes wrong.

why not you just need to be certified.
