You can work in dept stores just not on cash. You are not required to learn that type of thing while working there. There are lots of jobs you can try like the ones listed baove. Just stay away from banks and accounting, they are opretty much the only places where you will have to deal with money,

Warehouse, stocker, driver, short order cook, translator, construction worker, maid, dog walker, gardener, artist.

Anything that's not retail. Ditch digger, construction worker, police officer, or personal trainer (to the extent that you don't have to collect fees) would all work for you.
