So here is the story. One of the girls at my work (she doesn't work in my department, but will come hang out in my office), threw the water out of a cooler over a second story balcony. she didn't know it at the time, but she got someone wet- i know she didn't mean too. Well, a few days the guy came in and complained to my boss and said that her staff had done this too him. They assumed it was me because I was the only employee in the office that day. I told them it was not me and to ask her. Well, they haven't asked her. I feel like if i make a big deal out of it, then it will look like i'm guilty and trying to cover up my tracks. Should i approach the girl and ask her to tell them the truth or should I just let it go. i'm not in any real trouble, but it bothers me to be accused of something that I didn't do and that is totally out of chracter for me. I feel hurt that my co-workers would actually believe I would do that. I have enough common sense to know not to do that!
