The bigger question here is why you are so depressed and angry at life? I think that is the issue you need to focus on first. A lot of people at 18 are at the brink of graduating from high school and beginning to make the first adult decisions of their lives. This can be a very scary time. This is not uncommon - a lot of people feel that way. I did when I ws 18.
At 18 you have lots of time to decide. I thought I knew what I wanted to do and started college going down that path. 2 years in, I completely changed my mind and did something completely different. I'm about to start taking my career in a different direction yet again - and I'm in my 40's now.
My husband did the same thing - at age 25 - changed his life direction entirely. You don't have to have it all figured out right now, or even once and for all.
Try and get some help for the anger and depression you feel first and foremost. When you feel better, you'll be in a better frame of mind to start working on what you want to do next with your life.
Don't worry, you'll figure it out. You won't fail. You just might end up doing something you didn't expect. That's the interesting part about life.

How about working at a travel agency? You will most likely start out as an assistant or receptionist, but thats the way it goes, work from the bottom UP! Animals.. how about a zoo, pet store, animal shelter? I'm not sure about Japan. Be creative when looking for jobs, look around, call around, ask around. Are you in college? If you have the chance to go (parents, relatives, etc willing to pay/help) DO IT! Education is everything. You may not think so now, but really, if its the only advice you take, get your education! Good luck!

Take many career assessment tests, and look at and research each job occupation you like and narrow it down, then that should give you an idea what you want to do, but remember this is not going to happen overnight, it takes awhile to figure out what you want and learn about your self. Some people don't know until what every their age is. Some find out in their late 20's, or 30's, or even between 40's and 50's. Good Luck.

your anger and depression are a common symptom of the mental state you are in...
once you choose a path in life, you will find a great wieght has been lifted off your shoulders...
what to do with your life is really up to you and only you...i might ask someone very close to you because they probably know you better than you might even know yourself, esp at your age...
but, you could always be a traveling vet who does work in japan...hehe just jokin...

There are certain tests colleges will give you to see what you would be good at doing. Tests that will tell you what your strenths are.
Rule out certain things. For instance, would you like to join the Army? Would you like to be a nurse in a foreign country?? Find out what you like, Find out what your strenths are, and then try to develop a life that your strenths will be needed in and something you will like... Structure your life around your strenths!!!
Go to a job where you are good, and also needed...
When you discover what your strenths are, surround your life with those types of people..... and don't listen to anyone who is less successful than you....

Try taking a Myers Briggs Temperament Indicator. It basically a personality test. It will give you a four letter code that will explain your strengths and weakness in your personality. From there you can get a lists of occupations that people with your personality type are drawn to. It will help you narrow things down. Many of us go to college only to find that we hate our jobs.

At least you've admitted to your faults...and you should really seek professional counseling in order to work on those "negative" areas in your life.
In terms of what you want to do...you're just going to have to go out and try different things and hopefully find something that you love doing.
Good luck!
