I started a job in August, and I am still working at it. However, during my interview she said that I would get a raise once training was over. I am not learning anything new.

Don't ask for a raise. Ask for a review. Raises generally are given then, not just any old time.

A general rule of thumb is to wait up to a year before asking for a raise. Other wise they may look upon you as a person who only care about money and not the job and the company which you applied and accepted to and may have a hard time getting a raise later on. However, many companies don't base how long you work there in order to get a raise, they base it on their budget, inflation, your performance and skills. Good Luck.

Are you not learning anything new because you have fully learned your job or because they don't have confidence in you to teach you anything new? Ask for a 6-month performance evaluation. If your review is good, then ask about the raise. If not, maybe this job is not for you.

Depends upon when your training period is over. Look at your contract.

No one ever stops learning so maybe your attitude is one of the factors of why you don't have a raise as yet.

Ask for some targets and stick to them.

Generally, a new hire to any place of employment gets a 90day review - ask your boss about that, and that will probably jog the memory of a raise.

If she said that, since it's been six months, it's fair to ask when you'd be eligible for a raise. Remind her she had said you'd get one when training was over.
