If I never had any experience in it? I've worked as an accountant at a florist and a counter girl at a cafe. I just got back from an interview at a store in a mall. I feel like it went badly. I wasn't expecting many of the questions... "What will you bring to the company?" What are some good answers? I was honest and said I was hardworking, but I felt so unprepared. At least I know what to expect next time...

You must bring your enthusiam. Retail environment is always full of "happy people". You can start out by working at your favorite store. What store do you go to lots?

in retail personality is important so emphasize that. talk about ur prior experience, say you are dependable, punctual, people person, always willing to help and go the extra mile. make sure you really want the job for which you are going for. it will show!

Start as a sales clerk. Lord & Taylor is always hiring salespersons.
