It's hard to say with the information you've given, really need more of why this employee was terminated. I would think that it depends of the situation that the employee was terminated How has this lesson changed their attitude? Has this person realized what they did wrong? Are they ready to make amends to this problem? If you really feel this person deserves a second chance then, give them a second chance but if you really feel this person will still cause a problem then no. You have to think about your business and your life.

Personally, I think it depends on what you fired them for. Petty things, such as being late for work-also depending on the offenses of course, or something of that nature is up to you if they were a good employee. But something more severe like embezzlement..then I say no.

all depends on the reasson he was fired,if it was something that was bad or dangerous then definitely not,if it was for time keeping or having time off or some other thing that he perhaps will not repeat, then offer the job but point out that as before it will not be tollerated.
