Do women have much employment opportunities in islamic countries?

Just interested having read the following article in my paper

It depends on the country. In Saudi Arabia, women still can't drive, but they can be employed. But in the Islamic countries where women can be employed, they often have to be segregated from men. So many women have to take jobs in education, since that's one of the few jobs they are allowed to perform.

There are a great many Islamic countries, and each one has varying ways that they treat women. In the majority of Islamic countries, women can vote. Unfortunately, the majority treat women very poorly when it comes to job opportunities, property rights, divorce procedures, and domestic violence.

Islamic women who have moved to other countries are often discriminated against by employers in their host country, and face unemployment there as well. Fundamentalist muslims are pushing many European countries to allow them to treat muslim women the way they did in their country of origin.

Just like many other types of fundamentalist groups, muslim fundamentalists make life difficult for women and girls.

Women in Islam do have employment opportunities. Narrow Minded people tend to think that Women in Islam are oppressed when in fact they are more respected by men than,Woman in a westernised country, here in Western Society to sell a product you need a half naked woman to help sell a product, In the middle east things like that are not allowed. Remeber alot of Woman in the Western World have no self respect.

I do wish the UK had in place the strict regulations that Australia does. Genuine asylum seekers I am willing to help, immigrants that abuse the system can get to fook. Do you know we are skint because most of our money is being sent out of the country? I work with chinese girls who are working 80 hours a week to send OUR money to China. The Polish,Romanians and Fillipinos are doing the same. WHEN do we say enough is enough?

Heh...NO WAY. women there are lucky if they even go to school. If I remember correctly .. Girls are only allowed to go to 6th grade. If there even allowed to go at all. Those countries say we are evil. but they oppress more people in ways than we do.
