Or, are you doomed to be make $45K a yr in some tiny firm in the middle of no-where. Not all lawyers make good money. Are these the ones that couldn't get into a good school? I'm considering law school. I know I can get into one, but I'm not sure if I'm top tier material. I'd hate to go to school, come out w/ a ton of debt, and make a crap salary.

Everytime I get through to some line.. it ends up being some dead end. No one knows who i need to talk to, they give me some other number that leads to the same end result. Is there anyone out there that can direct me in the right way. I even tried the usps website, but it says not hireing for permant positions in this area... but this is memphis ( a HUB) so I know they are always looking for people.

She feels that we (fresh graduate & young new hired) have luck & opportunities better then what she got when she started. also she feels that we don't deserve all that interest we get from the management. & since I’m the only young employee working with her (for 4 years now) you can imagine how is my life.
ah also she have a rude personality & she can't control her anger & she always think that she's the best & she's never wrong.
I thought in the beginning that it's all about me & there is something wrong with me but after a while I found that I’m not the only one think that but most of my colleagues(if not all) hate her. can't talk to HR coz the HR Manager is her friend. also her boss is her friend too. She knows how to deal with the high position people in the company.
Tried to leave the job but can’t find a better offer all are less then what I have now. & i'm afraid to find another boss like her but this time with a lower salary

Since I gave the notice back in october things have gotten from bad to worse. From being accused of being rude to costumors to physically pushing my daughter at work. And this saturday past I ended up setting my alarm clock for pm instead of am and now the big boss wants to speak to me tomorrow about it.The thing is the kitchen supervisor already yelled at me for it. So now my concern is can I just walk out tomorrow or do I have to give another two weeks notice. Unless they fire me.

I work for a major non-profit hospital in Virginia, as a Nursing Assistant. My hospital provided a 5 day class in Nursing Assisting, and the rest has been on the job training. They DO NOT certify anyone. Is there a state certification board I can go to and take an exam? Do I need to take an actual college course? I would like to do private duty on the side.

This seems to be a problem when i go to interviews, basically i've been really shabily treated by my current employer - but the interviewers don't really see why i want to leave. Am also that by spreading myself out it might come back to my boss - in which case i'm screwed. Has anyone got any ideas on what i can do?
