That depends upon the business. The ruthless angle is all well and good, for a certain type of business. However, good contacts, a certain degree of honesty and percieved friendlyness may also be considered strengths. It all depends upon the market.
Overall, product knowledge, an understanding of people/the human condition and an eye for opportunity, since all business people tend to be risk takers.
