Since I gave the notice back in october things have gotten from bad to worse. From being accused of being rude to costumors to physically pushing my daughter at work. And this saturday past I ended up setting my alarm clock for pm instead of am and now the big boss wants to speak to me tomorrow about it.The thing is the kitchen supervisor already yelled at me for it. So now my concern is can I just walk out tomorrow or do I have to give another two weeks notice. Unless they fire me.

if you want to get unemployment, wait for him to fire you or asked you to leave. then you can get 6 months unemployment or until you get another job......

concerning a 2 weeks notice, tell him you are resigning and would like to give your notice...then ask him that you would like to leave at the end of the day. if you did not sign a contract that you have to stay two weeks, you can leave the same day......who knows....you may be lucky and he fires you so....... unemployment office here you come!!...lol

Changes are you're an at will employee, so you don't have to worry about breach of contract. Even so, it's highly doubtful your employer would cause you any legal problems.

Professionally, two weeks notice is customary, and should be given again unless they have acted unreasonably. The fact that you gave notice before doesn't change this. You should do this, not for them, but because you act professionally, regardless of others. This will help you with other jobs, and for a long time to come. Even if the employer does not do this, you should.

The best situation is to have another job lined up first. So you should be looking around.

Also, employers would rather have an employee leave on their own than terminate them. There's less legal exposure for them, and they may not have to pay for you're unemployment. But if they are going to let you go, and you can collect unemployment, assuming you're "on the books".

Good Luck!!!

Yes, if you would like to use them as a reference it is best that you give another two weeks notice even though you did several months ago. If you do or don't your boss may fire you, but you would be doing the right thing.

To hell with that! what form of position is this besides? once an worker supplies a observe, that is very last! there is frequently a time body it truly is determined up for termination upon employ, one week as an celebration. now and again the corporation would attempt to communicate you out of quitting yet even as a observe is given, the corporation could appreciate the worker's desires to flow on. wish this allows!

That's funny because i gave my employer a two months notice and left that exact day. You don't have to. Unless ur employer will be anal and deny you even mentioned it to them. Just leave, you'll be fine. Your employer is trying to drive you away from the place right after you told them so best advice is to leave.
