I applied for a position and got an e-mail reply from the employer saying they were impressed by my C.V. and would like to invite me to attain an open interview and asked me to book a position for it. I called today but the HR person was not in her office so I emailed back to the CEO(also the one who sent me the e-mail before) aked whether or not I'd be able to call him on his convenience to book a position. I was thinking to have a word with him as well. But he just sent a copy of having some people at HR department reserving a position for me but ask me to call him.

Does that mean he wasn't so interested in hiring me? Why didn't they give me a telephone inverview before the face to face interview? Please give me some suggestions and opinions, thank you!

I'm 31 and used to work as a male nurse but I gave it up because I didn't like it.Now I've been looking for a job for some time but am not able to find anything.Should I get back to my previous job that I didn't like or wait for who knows how long? The problem is that I'm fed up with staying at home but I really don't know what to do and am really depressed.

I've just finished my social care degree. I have experience in child care, but now want to move on to other areas. I don't have much other experience.

I've been offered £11,124 for 37hrs per week, term time only. I don't know whether to take it, as everyone says its far too low. Although i've looked around and it doesn't seem that low. But I want to move out, and I'm learning to drive.
Its spilt shifts as well, so will cost me quite a lot in transport.

Should I hold out and wait for something else or take it? It seems like a good organisation, I'm just worried about the shifts and the wages.

His wife thought I did not invite her to his office birthday party, but I did ,I told her assisitant. Now the both of them are so mad. His wife even yelled at another co-worker over this at church (they go to the same church). I can't believe two professional people are acting like they are in junior high. I want to clear the air, but how do I when they are acting like big babies?

I left a job a few weeks ago do to a bad situation with a fellow co-worker. I have since had 6 interviews and on each one I was told they want to see other candidates so they can compare and find the best choice. I feel like I am missing something, I don't ask alot of question and maybe I should but I have not had to do this for many years and have no idea what questions I should ask other then the usual one's about the position. Any ideas? I would love the help.

I have an interview after work tonight and I really want it. I know confidence is really important in an interview, and I do really believe that I am perfect for this job and I have a lot to offer them. But somehow whenever I'm in an interview I start to act fidgety and ramble on like a silly little girl regardless of how confident I felt to begin with. What can I do to keep cool?
