I feel such sympathy for your situation! I remember when a co-worker of mine was stalking me and attacking my reputation with lies and gossip! I was so freaked out! I did not know what to do!!!
But I got a good answer which was to buy her a jack a s s for her birthday or something I don't remember...I'd have to go check...but really it got through to me that I really needed to get MY head on straight...it can't bother you if you don't let it. Just keep being polite and professional, I eventually lost my job because of what was happenning to me...So remember that all the world is a stage..and people will remember that you kept your head when these two were treating you badly...seems like he would tell his own wife for pity sake!!! Crazy people! Good Luck.

Be frank. Let them know you are here to do a job, and the issue is resolved. You invited her, the end. If they can't move on, report your boss to the corporates. Silent treatment in the workplace is inexcusable. Wow! Junior high again.

I know what you mean. Sometimes older people who you'd expect to be more mature about it don't say s***. Sometimes I want them to come to my face and say it rather than giving the silent treatment.
They want YOU to apologize to them. They're waiting for it. If it means losing your job then I'd just ask what's bothering them. Otherwise, I wouldn't really care to stoop myself down when they're acting like little kids.

See if you can get her assistant to admit to his/her mistake. You can apologize for the confusion and then after that, move on. There is nothing you can do. If your boss wants to continue to be immature, then so be it. Hopefully it will blow over soon.

ignore this childish behavior. if you give in they will continue do your job and they can say nothing to you, if they try to fire you sue them or the comapny. my boss is at it with me right now but i have told them before that i do my job correctly as well as others and they cant do any thing to me. be careful b/c they wil try anything to get you to snap

I would just pray for them and keep doing the best job that I could.Say good things to other people about them and wait for something good to happen.

Can't you get her assistant to weigh in on your behalf???
Make a note, in this kind of situation, make sure you deliver a written invitation.

Just bask in the beauty of the silence...
I had a boss once and all he did was shout all the time.
No worries here....
