were you from wealthy families who payed for your education, supported you while in school, and your only concept of "work" is the white collar kind? I am really interested in hearing your reasons for not increasing the minimum wage. Also, since there are more poor people than funds available for continuing education, what do you propose the rest of us poor people do to get ahead?

I'm 13 years old and in the future I want to be a Veterinarian that travels all around the world healing, and maybe film animals. But when I walk up to people and ask me what do I want to be when I grow up, I don't want to tell them all that. I just want to tell them a specific word that means what I want to do. Can you help me?

I have been at my job for 12 years and the last 5 years have been just horrible. My bosses are Male Chauvinist PIGS, they have no communication skills. The only skill they have is talking about everyone and yelling and throwing things! They also have more respect for the Employees who kiss a** and have only been with them a short time.

HR people - is it a turnoff if you receive a resume with salary history? I do this because I don't want to waste anyone's time if I'm not in the range they are seeking.

Nearly every job ad I read says, "great communication skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent organizational skills". Why? What is an effective way to communicate that you possess these skills?

After he/she describes the position and gives an overview of the company - what else is left to inquire about? It's not like you can ask what the pay is (which is probably the most desirable information). Usually, I'm inclined to say, "no, you've covered everything". But I know that's not the ideal response. Suggestions?

I currently have a retail job, but have accepted a position in my career field. However, my new employer is not sure when my orientation will be - it could be two or three weeks. When should I give notice to my current employer? I can't go without a paycheck, but it wouldn't be fair to leave them at the last minute.

I want to do something with my life; I want to be a "somebody" but how if i have NO motivation... does any one have any advice please dont be rude. I thank you all.
