Start by asking yourself, where does the money come from. Are people out there paying for a product or service and the money somehow comes to you? Are they received this product or service? If you can find a legitamate flow of money then it may not be a scam. If the company requires you to pay money at ANY time then odds are it is probably a scam. Might be a bit like a pyramid (or ponzi) scheme where you get peoplehave an introductory period (to lure you in) where they are making money. After this period is over, you have to start paying fees. What you would not know is that the money you were making was from part of the fees collected by previous people. Once you are in paying fees section of the scam, you will no longer be making money.

I have also read that this may be a site that harvests ad clicks. It sets up a bunch of pages with ads from anybody willing to pay to put them there and now it has members go to these pages and click the ad or complete the survey or whatever the comany is wanting. You get paid because you are clicking the ads and the advertised company has to pay for that click. However, you are not really interested in the content of the ad, just the little bit of money from clicking the ad. You make money from the sheer volume of ads you click. Sooner or later, the company that is paying for the advertising will realize that they are the ones being scammed and pull their ads. Eventually, the company will lose its advertising and can no longer generate any revenue. If this situation is true then you can safely make some money off of this site, but do not depend on it. There is no telling when the well will dry up and you will have to start looking for money elsewhere.

There are far too many scam artists out there for you to consider any work at home internet based sites to be legit. They have way too many ways to steal money for you to look at a company and decide if it is good or not. Even if you have friends making money, that is not a guarantee they will not be stolen from in they future.

If you just have to try it, do it with these rules for yourself.

1. Do not give them credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or personal info such as SSN or mother's maiden name. You will have your money and/or identity stolen.

2. Do not send them money. EVER. If they are making you so much money, then why do they need you to send them some? Do not fall for stories like "We do this to make sure we only get serious workers". They do it to get your money, plain and simple.

3. Do not accept checks, money orders, cashiers checks with the stipulation that you cash them and forward a certain amount. You will be stuck cashing fradulent checks and will have passed the money on to someone else.

4. Do not accept packages and be expected to send them somewhere else. This is a common ploy to move merchandise bought with stolen credit cards or accounts. Even if they pay for the shipping. You can get in trouble for being an accessory to the crime.

5. Investigate the company online. Search it on Google. Check with the BBB. Ask them for references you can verify. Do not accept testimonials from people you can never get in contact with.

6. If they have to say they are not a scam, then automatically raise your shields and treat them like a scam.

7. Finally, the oldest bit of wisdom. If it seems too good to be true then it is not true.

I recommend that you don't trust them. They're mostly fake. Not all, but you never know! I tried it once, it said things about completing surveys and earning money but I never received any cheque.
NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO THEM which is printed at the back where you sign the card.
They steal money [some of them] and never give it back.
BE CAREFUL. It'd be better if you consult someone experienced.
