My husband sells all his old computer parts and remote control cars that he doesn't use anymore. You can pretty much sell anything - like a garage sale but on ebay! One of my friends made a killing quite a few years back selling My Little Ponies. She would go to the Salvation Army store and buy old ones for really cheap, clean them up and then sell them. She sold one for $80 USD! Find out what's popular (certain retro items seem to be a hot ticket) and get into that or just sell stuff you don't want anymore. One man's junk is another man's treasure!

Being an occasional seller and frequent buyer on Ebay, I noticed that anything designer, hot, new, or trendy sells very well. People like getting something for a bargain especially if stores just come out with it full price. For example almost anything Juicy Couture. But stuff like that is hard to get. I don't know where to obtain them.

I sell car parts... I get an older junk car (or motorcycle) and strip it of everything that would sell. I love it because some things suprise you and go for a lot, then other things don't. But you can always group them together in a 'lot' and get rid of a bunch at once. I know nice, clean lightly used clothing like designer jeans sell big, if it's what's in style. I used to sell a lot of antiques and collectibles (like Budweiser Beer steins) and really, people will buy about anything you have to sell as long as you take lots of good pictures and be descriptive.

If you're willing to spend time at rummage sales and second hand shops, you can find collectible antiques to sell on ebay, but first study what people buy and how much items tend to go for so you don't buy high and sell low. Familiarize yourself with ebay's fee structure before you list and your homework will pay off. Good luck.
