An employer says shaving your head completely bald does not look professional, please do not do it again.Employee does it again...can employer legally terminate employee?

I do, because I work fast and am bored a lot. I ask for more work...but there isn't always any. My department is overstaffed and they (my co-workers) think it's busy.

My forman had words he pulls a knife out on me and saying come on. i walk away and ride back to the shop. (roofing company) to tell the boss. he was not there. monday speack to the boss the boss call him in, he said he did pull the knife out on me. the boss tell me to leave. my forman came out threat me that he will finish it. tell the boss he tells me to cut the grass, to sign a paper that me an my forman was fight. an left it at that.

So I know wearing nice clothes to the interview is a must. However, I am told tons of different things to were to go in and get an application. jeans? dress clothes? what?? i need some idea im clueless about this part. Does going in to just get an app that important as far as attire is concerned?

one is a childminders assistant.. courses/qualifications paid for
the other is a sales negotiator for cheshire building society
i do eventually wanna be a teacher of art in scondary school but dont want to get stuck in a dead end job, the childminding one is more hours (21) and the cheshire one is (12.5) a week.... jelp me?????????

Just recently started job, very prestigious trainee position at Governor's budget office... the person who was supposed to train me is totally sherking her responsibility and management very simply doesn't want to hear about it. I slipped and griped a bit about her to some co-workers, and I get the feeling I've poisoned the waters and now I feel very ostracized... Everyone is right around my cubicle laughing and joking and conversing, and I feel very clearly closed out, as if the court of public opinion has silently written me off as Mr. Bad Fit. Supervisor is very curt with me, and I feel almost as if people wretch at the thought of me coming up and talking with them. I want to prove myself by doing what I do best (ie working) but no one's giving me real work or training me. No longer being brought to meetings, etc. Feels like hell. What do I do?

I mean i have a degree in criminal justice admin and experience as a armed security officer 3 years and clerical working with a law firm for 2 years. There is only like 2 security companies in this area that pay adult liveable wages . Most pay starting at 7 bucks an hour and i made 20 before getting here. Now, im willing to take a cut in pay, but not that much of a cut. I made more then that when i was in high school. Any suggestions?..

The contract I have not signed has a notice period of 6 months, but previous contract (at the same employer and which I did sign) had notice period of 3 months. I have resigned and want to leave in 3 months but my employer says that even though I did not sign my new contract (which came about due to promotion to new role), they can hold me to the 6 months because I have been doing the job, taking extra money etc which came with the promotion

anyone had a ***** of a boss? i reported my manger to her boss because she shouted at me for something someone else had not done - ever since she has gone out of her way to make my life a misery at work - she extended my probation because she said i have an attitude problem! and she said she had the right to be a ***** to me coz she hired me. So I just didnt turn up to work. The company has 15 pple only and no hr team and no formal structures. Anyone been through such crap!

I am in college and I work at a grocery store. They are very unprofessional and very rude my manager always acusses me of stealing and tries to control me but I always fight back. They sometims work with my schedule but when I call off for school they seem get mad. I have never been at a job that I dispise so much. They have cut my hours since me and the managers altercation. I only have two days should I stay or go?
