I do, because I work fast and am bored a lot. I ask for more work...but there isn't always any. My department is overstaffed and they (my co-workers) think it's busy.

I work as a lecturer in auniversity. Ofcourse I will not be able to access the internet during lecture times but during office hours, if i have nothing to do, i do surf the internet.

Be careful of your co-wokers as they will try to show to your boss that you are not working enough.

I do, but then I'm chained to a phone when I'm at work for the most part. Leaves my hands free to key & it's allowed, so it's pretty much the most time I spend on the net is while I'm at work.....though it can make for some very interesting typo & phrasing problems. lol

i work in a call center where i answer phones and make appts. so yes majority of my time is on the internet... I'm pretty tired of the internet, but yes you're not the only one.

i am on it 8-10 hours a day.....i am a mortgage broker and i do alot of research....somedays i wonder how we did without it.
