The worst boss I had was a HR Director of all things. I was her assistant and her office was located on the back part of our floor. She would have me turn on her office light and open her door to make it look like she was at work on time. Our Vice-President went to go see her one morning around 8am, found out she wasn't in her office and asked me where she was - I told him the truth- about how she has me tend to her office every morning.

She also would schedule "ski-trips" the same day as big meetings. She would belittle her employees in front of everyone (called me "stupid" in front of our CFO).

She never communicated anything to anyone - so when the IRS - yes the IRS- showed up at our office asking why some business tax (employee benefits documentation) hadn't been filed in 5 years (she was out of the office - shocker) I called her on her cell, told her about her visitors, and gave my 2-weeks notice.

working for AOL when the internet first got popualr as an internet tech support call center person, and this lady called in and I got really upset with her because she kept asking hopw she was supposed to right click the little button it was to little for her, and we went through this for about ten minutes. She finally said well, fine let me take off my god-darn shoes. This little foot-peddle is making me crazy. I lost it, and started screaming at her to pick it up, that it was a mouse, and that she was to use it with her hand, and I got fired for loosing my cool. Found out tht it was a 74 year old lady who had never sen a computer before... I felt really bad but it was horrible dealing with all those fools calling us accusing us of "pinging" their houses and watchin what websites they were visiting....

McDonald's. A Manager was telling me to do a million things when I already had a big enough job to do, and yet she was just standing there, pretending she HAD to be there JUST IN CASE an order popped up. Standing and talking, doing nothing. So I yelled at her "I only have to hands and I already have things to do, why don't you do it yourself!"
