It's been a long week, have you survived the affections of any dishonourable boss advances? Ladies my prayers go with you.

Any bloaks out there alittle tired of the bossom missile threat when your back is agaist the wall and an authoritive female type is pressing in for the departmental kill.

It works both ways! How about the journey home? the unwanted tube train lap dancer!

Why do they do that?

I work in a motel....I am at work right now...
Last night...I was supposed to be here at 11p, but was 4 min's late....due to traffic....I left my house in plenty of time, but it is a Thurs night in a College Town.
Anyway, I am usually here at 20 min's until 11p, but when I wasnt here, at 11:01p, the person I was relieving, called my house looking for me. My Mom answered the phone & was asked "Where's Lena at?"....no hello or nothing....
When I walked in...the girl told me to call my house, since she has freaked my Mother out....& was laughing about it.
I just got through telling my Boss, who always comes in at 5a, about the call.....she told me that there was nothing wrong in that.
The girl did right. Also, she does not think it was rude for the girl to just come out & ask where I am without addressing my Mother or explaining who she is.
I have asked EVERYONE to not call my house after 10p, since I have kids that go to bed early during the wk. for school. This call woke them

When I was 17 (I'm 23 now), I accepted an assistant manager position at the clothing store I was working at. I didn't get along with my manager and he didn't train me properly but I was transfered to a different location and that manager and I worked really well together. She's no longer with the company and I have no idea where she is to ask her for a reference so I have no other choice but to use my first manager as one. I left the retail industry to work in the hotel industry but now I want to go back to retail because I miss it and don't really like what I'm doing now. I'm a lot more mature now, have more experience in leadership roles and know that I will make a good addition to the managment team, which is the postion I plan on applying for. I'm worried that I may get a bad reference because we didn't get along and he didn't get a chance to see how much I was able to progress in that position with proper training. What should I do?
