£4 an hour is an illegal offer if you are over 21.
You wont be able to live on that no.

Go to the link below for up-to-date information on UK minimum wage. If you are over 22, four pounds an hour is below minimum even if they are supplying accommodation for you. The national minimum is five pounds 35 pence.
Cost of living in the UK does vary with the region. Probably Scotland and parts of northern England are the cheapest places, with London and the south east being the most expensive. Nowhere will be comfortable on minimum pay however.
By offering you only four pounds an hour, I don't think your prospective employers are very good people to work for. Sorry.

no that's not much but it will depend how many 8 hour shifts you do and whether you can get some overtime.
that would be £32 per shift and if you did five shifts a week that would be £160 which would be taxed you would probably take home £120.
rent over here would be around £60 per week for a room only. £60 left over is not a lot to live on over here because things are very expensive. good luck

Minimum wage in UK is about £5.35 per hour, they will be breaking the law if you were to accept the job. The UK is really expensive to live in, I challenge you to live on £4 per hour!

£4 an hour is below the legal wage limit...it is very expensive to live in England housing..petrol and taxes are very high..

It is an illegal wage....if you are a legal immigrant, report them to the local job centre....if you are an illegal immigrant, I hope you get caught
