I just moved to Bahrain 1 year ago. I am still getting a feel for the country which I love so far. I have a degree in accounting from Uni in Canada, what else should I study to make it in the banking industry in Bahrain? Only serious answers pls. Ramadan Kareem all.

The reason for firing me is she said it was a business decision, and that the new girl they hired is willing to work my days which would make her full time.

I just had an interview for a county/government job. Benefits are great, pay is good, and the location is perfect. This would be the perfect job for me. I'm just wondering how government interviews compare to corporate/private interviews? Is it tougher to land a job or is it easier? Your Feedback would be great thanks.

I just got a call back for a Blockbuster job (in Canada) and have been told there will be a group interview they call an Audition... I would like to know if anyone can give me some more detailed insight into what is involved with the "Audition".

I would feel more comfortable if I knew what to expect from the experience.

Thanks

She has the personality like Rosanne Barr, except no jokes, just complaints about everthing. I feel I am being shorted b/c the first two days I got excellent training with two different patient people. Today my preceptor was just unpatient, left me on my own, and expected me to do things that I only saw once. I am suppose to have 6 weeks of trainging and its only been 3 days. The preceptor makes it a point to announce to others that another new co-workers needs no oreintation and she gloats about how well she has caught on making me feel like an idiot. Another co-worker saw my fustration and asked how things were going I told her about the preceptor and she told my director who then told the horrible preceptor about her teaching skills. I have since been placed w/ a decent preceptor but now the old preceptor has me doing all the **** work while she does nothing. I work in healthcare so we work as a team and I cannot avoid her. How can I do my work w/o her involvement of supervising me.

I pursued an advanced program during high school and graduated at sixteen (valedictorian). I'm currently seventeen and seeking a job. I will be attending university next year in California and need to start saving money for tuition. Optimally, I would like to earn $2000 a month. Since I’m a graduate and I’m seventeen; child labor laws do not apply to me. I'm willing to work up to 60 hours a week, as long as I can fulfill my goal. I am aware that employers have to provide pay and half once I surpass forty hours a week, so they maybe reluctant to hire me. However, if I do work sixty hours a week I could be paid $7.15 for the first forty hours and $10.73 for the subsequent twenty, which seems reasonable.
4 * (40X + 1.5(20X))=2000 70x=500 x=7.15 x=10.73
I don't know if I’m being foolishly optimistic because I’m not familiar with the American job market; I recently arrived from overseas. I live in eastern North Carolina and I was wondering if anyone could offer discerning advice.
