I've encounted so many good customer services. In hotels where I have checked in, in restaurant where I have ate for the first time and because I liked the waitresses and waiters for being so polite and attending my family and I would always return to that restaurant, in some stores/boutiques I go to, the sales ladies are always so courteous upon entering the store, while shopping and when leaving the store.

I personally am a Customer Service Representative.. and as a CSR for our company, I see to it that I give my fullest effort to keep the customers happy and contended. Things that seem small for my customers I make sure that it is given the fullest attention so that they will spead the word about our company how the CSRs are polite and attendant to their needs and wants. I also tried working in a hotel as a front desk clerk and I had so many trainings for customer service.

I want to give the fullest and best customer service to someone because I, myself is a customer. And we all want to experience good customer service.

The best customer service I received was during a cruise. The staff really knew how to provide everything you required even with a language barrier!
If they got an request wrong then they smile or laugh and would keep returning until it was correct, they were eager to please. I found the staff to be pleasant and easy to approach and they enjoyed what they were doing. I think it is easy to tell if they are unhappy.
Whilst they expect gratuities I would never have considered leaving any if I weren't satisfied 100%
These days people say " you get what you pay for" but I think great customer service goes over and beyong the expected norm.

I eat a lot... so

i would say restaurants. Best customer service would be waiter/waitress/server stopping by to refill your drinks without you asking. OR offering help as he/she walks by. Making sure everything you get, is to your taste.

its good because you get everything you want and don't have to deal with servers that roll their eyes at you or argue.

but then again i am not very picky so maybe thats why they are cool with me.

Over the phone - Verizon. They were curteous, had good control of the English language so I was able to understand them. He identified himself by name (Henry). He asked how he could help. Henry was friendly and asked what type of weather we had in our state when I told him we needed to take our phone off vacation as we were heading back to our winter home for six (6) months and he lives where we were heading. Henry explained what the weather was like. He wished us a safe trip) He repeated back phone numbers and asked for the correct spelling of our name so all info was correct and verified the date the phone service was to start. Henry offered to put my name on the account along with my husbands so I could call in the requests without Verizon having to talk to my hasband. He offered other services to me, explained how they worked and if we could put on vacation for six (6) months, price, and asked if I had questions. When we were done he thanked me for calling Verizon.
