first, find out what airlines are hiring. Airlines hiring flight attendants web search in yahoo will direct towards about 15 airlines. You could also look up each airline individually and they will tell you if they are hiring. From there send in your resume and stay on top of it. If you can go to an open house for that airline all the better. When I asked why you want to be a flight attendant please do no say "because I like to travel" That is oblivious. You also need some personality and past customer service experience. ps it is not stewardess anymore.

I attended International Air Academy in Vancouver, Washington, USA. They train for 16 different positions in the airline industry. Flight attendant, (what stewardess' are called today), is one of those positions. People come from all over the world, to train to work for the airlines. You can contact a school like this, or apply online with any of the airlines you wish to work for. Good Luck! It is hard work, but you meet the best people! And you get great perks!
