I just had an interview for a county/government job. Benefits are great, pay is good, and the location is perfect. This would be the perfect job for me. I'm just wondering how government interviews compare to corporate/private interviews? Is it tougher to land a job or is it easier? Your Feedback would be great thanks.

Your chances are very good if you are totally qualified for the job and have either good references from your past work history or have good grades in college. They just take quite a long time to decide because they interview so many people and they are government after all. But I have friends who work in government and are very happy, not only with the benefits and pay but because of the promotion opportunities. Good luck on landing the job!!
