Do you want a grocery store on your resume? I would look for another job. Try looking in your field of interest. Check at your college for something. If you don't need the money, volunteer somewhere. Sometimes volunteering can give you great skills and also looks great on a resume.
If you look for another job, forget the classifieds. Whatever field you want to go into, start calling those businesses. Tell them you are a student and looking for a part time job and are studying XYZ. Frequently a business will bring you on as a part timer just because that's what you are studying and you are interested. They figure it's cheap labor and you may find yourself with a full time offer at graduation if they like your work. Or you may find that you don't like that work and change your major. Either way you are better off.

What are you in Clown College?
Only trying to be funny.
I don't feel you have provide enough information to make a decision.
For Example, how soon can you start another job with equal pay, hours, and schedule?
Will quiting this job cause you to not have money to pay rent, food, heating expenses, etc.?
Do you require income from this job to sustain the lively hood of yourself or immediate family?
Is this an internship through college?
If no serious ramifications will occur if you quit; send an email back with the date you told them to "Take this job and Shove It".

Yeah, leave now. Why stay? If you hate where you work, it's only going to distract from your college work. Go get a job somewhere that pays for your education. A lot of companies will. UPS payed for about 80% of my college tuition and I only had to work there part-time. So my advice would be to start looking now and try to find something that fits your schedule, may pay for your school and, most importantly, somewhere that you might like to work. You never know what's out there until you try.

Well have you had another job before this one? I am also in college, and I work in a fast food restaurant , and I hate it. The only reason I stay is, so I can have something to put on a resume. It does not look good, to have gaps of unemployment on your resume, unless you quite for illness or something important. You need to stick with it. I feel like walking out a lot on my job, because I am tired of stupid people. It will not last forever..

Everywhere you go, you are going to encounter people that you may/may not like or get along with. It's time to grow up and quit fighting back....if you are not happy there leave. But fighting back because you think they are trying to control you sounds extremely immature on your part.

Look for a new job first. It is a lot easier to find a better job if you already have one.

I would quit. This isn't the type of thing that you'd put on your resume anyway. It is more important that you be true to yourself than be true to someone who is treating you badly.
