I've been looking for a part-time job in the banking industry, most likely as a teller, and I've applied on the JPMorganChase Careers website... if anybody's a teller for Chase, can you tell me if/when I might hear from them? Does it take awhile for the online application to process down to the branch? Or should I just look online at JPMorganChase.com and then go directly to the location where the job listing is? Any current Chase employee answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm glad I don't work for this company any more. One of my ex-co-employees mentioned that the CEO had hidden motion sensor operated cameras distributed throughout the company. This guy was a control freak, and his personality leads me to beleive that he might have secretly monitored us. Does an employeer need to notify employees that monitor cameras exist? It just feels very uncomfortable to think that that this guy was monitoring us.

When I came 2 years ago, most people had been here for over 5 years. One by one they started to leave. The first one was a very hard-working talented woman who left 'coz she never got a raise, she was replaced by someone who still sucks at the job and gets paid more. In 2 years, the office of people with 5 years here were gone, all them left because they never got a raise, yet all of them were replaced by someone who got paid more and sucked at the job. I quit on Monday, I'm way too overqualified to make the money I make. I know who I'm getting replaced with, I interviewed that person months ago, and he was way underqualified to work here. Just as I imagined, they offered him more money than what I was making.

Why is my boss so stupid, rather than give qualified people a raise, he rathers hiring underqualified people and pay them more than they people he didn't want to give a raise to. My department is in a lot of trouble because of the new people not cutting it.

I'm looking for a job, There aren't to many around where I live. I put an application into Fashion Bug 2 weeks ago, they said they would be hiring soon, I haven't heard anything yet, should I call? Since I still interested? I do want a receptionist/secretary job. Should I call places to see if they are hiring? I've looked in the paper and almost everything is a long drive. I was recently let go from my job that I had worked at for ten going on eleven years,because, I had my 6 year old grandson at work with me for two hours after he was let out of school, my baby sitter was sick. I was the property manager, one person office, family complex, 108 units , grandson played at the playground with the other children until it was time to go. Not fair if you ask me. What do you all think??

Does anyone know much about this on here?

My work are trying there best to make me want to leave, they have thrown the book at me for time off, and now they know im training to be a driving instructor they are blocking me at every step. They wouldnt give me set shifts to allow me to take people out for lessons after work time, and everytime i need time off to do my course they dont give me the time even though i have been totally honest with them, they tell me there is no available time, but the thing that pisses me off is the number of days on the Holiday board that have over booked time is crazy and they never give me this. plus there is a lot of other sh*t going on which makes me think they are trying there best to make me want to quit

Any opinions/help will be appreciated cheers

My friend is a health care assistant at out local hospital (East Anglia) and reckons she gets paid a whopping £26 a hour on a bank holiday. She is not a fully qualified nurse or anything which is why I am so so shocked. She works on the bank so she covers for people who are ill etc.....Is she telling me porkies or do our ever so cash strapped NHS acually pay UNQUALIFIED staff £26 a hour? Thanks.
