If you know you can't do the job, or if you know in your heart that your boss thinks you can't do it, then yes you should leave... Understand that not everyone can do every job... sometimes it just doesn't work out... when that happens, it's best to admit it to yourself and go find another job in which both you and your employer will be happy.... Doing so will save you a lot of energy and prevent a lot of anxiety! (Plus, you won't have to explain to a future employer why you were fired from this job...)
Think of all of this as giving you an opportunity.... don't think of it as a failure... rather, it's a chance for you to go find something else that works...
Hope this helps...

It wouldn't hurt to start looking for another job. If you get another job offer, and you think it will be a better situation for you, then leave. The first person who answered also made a good point that if they fire you, you might be able to get unemployment while you are looking for another job.
You could also try asking your boss what you could do to fulfill his/her expectations for the job better. You might not get an honest answer, but it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.
Good luck!

Since you have only been working for two weeks, I would say that you should be open with your boss. DO NOT ask if you are being fired just say something like, "I'm concerned about my progress in training, can you give me any feedback to improve?" This will show your boss that realize you need to improve and will give your boss an opportunity to see if you can improve.

Communication is KEY> you can't possibly know your boss's intentions or why they are wanting to hire someone else. Tell them that you would like to talk to them in private. Let them know that you are concerned that they may not be pleased with your work. Ask them to be honest and take what they say constructively! Tell them how important your job is to you and that you are willing to try harder and take any suggestions that they may have. People love to be asked for their help! ASK FOR THEIR HELP! Then be sure to thank them when you do something right. Living under such an assumption is damaging to your self esteem. That will show daily in your reactions and also show a lack of confidence in the work you do. Always communicate! People will respect you for it.

Unless you have something lined up right now, then I would stay and let yourself be fired. You should be able to get unemployement that way.
On the other hand, are you doing this at work? Maybe that is why you are being fired...

Go talk to your boss - see if there is a way you can do better - don't give up the ship just yet.

I suggest you leave. don't let them fire you. you haven't been there long enough to receive unemployment so what is the purpose for staying? I would give notice so it won't go on your resume as being fired.

have your resume ready (copies made) and a list of the places you will go if they let you go. Don't jump the gun, and don't burn any bridges. You don't need to list this company on your resume. Find yourself a good placement agency.
