No. Businesses nowadays want the talent, whether it's make or female. If you have the qualifications, you should not have any problems. The only areas where sex might come into the picture is something like firefighters, where traditionally it's a role taken by men. Although I do know of some women who became firefighters. But in the business world, it's a little different. You should have no probems.

I think the sex of the person does not matter so much any more... Because women today are represented in the business workforce at a rate that is pretty much equal to their % of the US workforce, businesses are not having to put as much special emphasis on hiring women. Busniesses are hiring based on who they think will be best in the job (qualications and 'fit' with the work situation matter). They really don't care if it's a man or a woman they hire....

There will always be exceptions... for example, a business may find it has too many men and needs to balance things by hiring more women. In other cases, though, the business may find it has too many women and seek to hire more men! Also, some businesses need women because of the nature of their business... eg., women's clothing retail store... But these are exceptions...

Those are my thoughts!
