I recently interview for one of my top dream job and after the interview she asked me if I wanted to do an observation at the job site. I told her that I did and I called the site supervisor to arrange an observation. After the observation, I sent a thank you letter to the interviewer (via email). The interviewer called me the next day and told me that she is still interview other applicants and that she will let me know when she came to a conclusion. When I went to monster.com, I saw that she posted the same hiring ad ( on that website right after she called me). Does anyone know what this means??? I emailed her saying that i'm still interested in the position and I asked her for a timeline. Is the call she made to me a good sign? Was I too persistant in contacting her???

I'm tired of stressful jobs that pay well and wondering if there are easy jobs that do too. Especially ones where you can work almost autonomously, with maybe a bi-weekly update with the boss. I’m looking for anything that pays over $36K per year and more, above 60K would be wonderful!

Anybody out there have a job like I’m describing?

I cant find anything on the starting salaries of physical therapists. I have looked on the american government occupational handbook too. Maybe Im just overlooking information or something. Also, if there are any physical therapists out there, you should explain how you generally feel about the job. Is it stressful? emotional? enjoyable?

Well, I need to choose between two jobs that i am offered..but i am more interested in another job offered by another company..they informed me they are OK with my profile and will call me in a few days...now i want to mail them to inform them that..i need to take a decision fast..so i want to seek the status of the interview...

I applied for employment for this company and I am being asked to email my resume. I would like to know what would be best. Do I send my cover letter as an attachment along with my resume or do I send the cover letter on the initial email page (for example, when you click on compse and than you start writting)?

So i had an interview today and it all went great, the lady said I could start monday, but then I told her I had another interview today at a different company, and that I would go there and in the afternoon I would give her an answer. So then she asked me if i knew other persons that would be interested in the job so i gave her the names and phone numbers of 2 friends of mine. Turns out she called 1 of them and she interviewed with them today too. I went to the other place and i really didnt like it there so i decided to call the lady to tell her yes, but she wasnt available so i wrote an email to her and then called her in the afternoon. She told me that she had to fix some things before i could start but that she will call me tomorrow :( . And i just talked to my friend and turns out they said the same thing to her.... do u think i lost my chance at that company?? What can i do to have an advantage over my friend now?

I live in KS and am thinking about getting into real estate. Does anyone know a website that offers the class online?? Also I just wanted to know if you work only on commison or if you get an hourly/salary pay as well, if so how much?? Also is it hard to get going?? I have been looking for a job in my small SW Missouri town for about 3 years now. The problem is that I am a stay at home mom with no work experience and 8 years of college. All of the jobs around here want experience and the ones that don't, want an actual degree. I have some Business Administration and Criminal Justice, as well as 2 years of Forensic Science. When I apply at places like McDonald's or Taco Bell, I am told that I am "overqualified while being unexperienced." I would really like a job to prove myself in the workforce. So, employers, what do I do to get your attention and make you hire someone like me?

I was the shipping/recieving manager, was forced into taking the job 1 year ago or "There probably isn't anything else here for you".
Was told at time of firing that it was in my job description to have a "Clean License", yet the employee handbook said that I was to recieve a job description upon hiring for the position. Never happened...What's my rights??????

Now they have cut off my unemployment saying that "I quit my job without good cause." " That by losing my license was tatamount to voluntary leaving of the job because I could not fulfill all the responsibilities of my position." What is going on here??????
