The ones that I did find I applied to, but it's been few weeks now and they haven't responded. I guess that's their way of telling me to go f*** myself. Seroisly, it's so tough to find a good part-time job. Any good websites or ideas on how I can find I good parttime job. I work at a local grocery store, so it's not the most important job in the world, but I act my age (20) do my work and keep my mouth shut. However, my co-workers seem to think whining that they wanna go home, or I'm bored is okay, and they never get into trouble. Any advice?

I resighned because i found a new job. A week into my resignation my boss terminated me, for reasons he had no previous Documentation on ! not only that,It so happens that my former boss went to the new agency that hired me for this new job position and said i had been terminated , so therefore I was revoked from my job offer. Which leaves me without a job. Would I qualify for unemployment ? Does this in your opinion seem like a consructive termination ? I had been with the company almost 4 years .

Hi. I want to work in a more formal enviornment, but I can't take out my nosering. i'm a hindu, but I am not sure if the managers will believe me, ebcause i am not 100% indian. (My grandfather was, and passed it down) So whats a way that I can cover it up, or convince them? I do not want answers like "don't get the job", or "they are ugly, or you shouldnt have gotten one inthe first place" I do not care about opinions on noserings. I just want a good answer. Thanks

My previous employers handbook states on the On January 1st of each year, employees having at least 1 year of full-time continuous employment will receive 18 days of paid time to be used as they wish during the year. If all is not used by December 31, cash compensation will be given.I understand 6 of those days are sick time, which are accrued every 6 months, and I was paid for 2.So that still leaves me with 10 days. When I wrote the office manager a demand letter, she now states the other 10 days are accrued through out the year, which it doesnt state that.I could have used my 5 vacation days at the beggining of the year and have been paid for them.I sent a letter to the Attorney General and received a response to take it to small claims court. My question is,should I sue for the 5 days,or would they give me the ten days as stated in the handbook?

I graduate from college after winter semester in 2007 which is only 2 semesters away. I'm afraid I won't get a full time job with benefits. My major is Office Professions, which is secretary and administrative work. I'm just scared I'll end up living with my parents forever cause I won't have the money to support myself.
