You should always say you are a bit impatient then turn it around and make it sound like its a strength.
Like this
I think I am a bit impatient. I like to get things done sometimes people move to slowly for me.
The enterviewer might ask you for an example have one ready
make sure your example replies strength.
never give weakness that you can not reply or turn it into a strength and alway have an example ready.
when you give your example even though you know what you want to say stop and think if you snap out with an answer the enterviewer will think its "canned."
be confident and look them in the eye never look away or around or down.

tell them "My alacrity may well be flawed by utilising a supervisor for a loss of information of the situation to hand or overconfidence on my area. i'm purely certainly enthusiastic and constructive and that i've got on no account yet come for the time of a situation that became impossible to clean up via different team individuals. it particularly is why i'm very mushy in any artwork environment for which i'm qualified." solid useful interviewers do no longer ask "what's your weak spot?" anymore. it particularly is from the ninety's and it tells the interviewer no longer something. all and sundry has a weak spot of a few style such because of the fact the main effective organization human beings in the international. in case you return for the time of an interviewer who asks this question then you definately've an amateur on your palms. those are the failings the interviewer desires to confirm from you or approximately you: one million. are you able to easily DO the job? this implies all components of the job. 2. are you able to get on with different human beings [team participant and so on]? 3. Are you trustworthy, trustworthy, and good [will you easily come approximately for artwork on a daily basis, be relied on with organization property and so on]? 4. are you able to take training from a important / supervisor? each thing else is beside the point. supply examples without being asked and be arranged to grant those examples (it particularly is alright to have some notes). a experienced candidate will lead the interview in the path they choose it to circulate. it is an delicate artwork and a experienced interviewer will observe this.

i know exactly what you're talking about - a week ago i had an interview where i had to tell the company what my friends/family/former colleagues would tell them about me...
in your case - i was asked that question very often - i would first of all let them know that you don't see your weakness as a weakness, but as a challenge (whatever it is - be clear to know what it is and be honest about it). i once told an interviewer that so-called weaknesses are there to learn from and to grow therefore i appreciate my weaknesses and value them for letting me know that i'm not as perfect as i often think (which is one of my weaknesses - meaning challenges - :)) , the result was that i got the job because the human resources manager was impressed about my honesty and that i didn't make up stories...
wish you the best!! i remember a time when it was enough to prove your skills and have good marks in university - now companies are all fancy about psychologics and all that stuff...
best regards, f.

Well, you pick something that is an irritation to most people, like my 'weakness' is I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I really can't stand it when details are left unfinished. Or redundancy. People who take the same 'details' and hash over them again and again and again and again until you wonder if they're senile they have to re-hash so many times. Or maybe their just obsessive compulsive because they have to examine every fiber and get mired up in the details so much that neither I nor they can go on with anything else. This is extremely counter-productive, get the drift? Your 'weakness' is impatience with things that slow down the project/team.

You have to say something. This is where the interviewer wants that 'in touch with yourself' type of answer. Unless they ask about specific job related 'what is your weakness on computers, etc.'; then you need to say something about personal growth. For example, 'I am not as knowledgeable with Microsoft Project or Access, but I am enrolled in some online tutoring....'. So do not just state a weakness, but tell them how you are working to overcome that weakness.

Not sure...I've been with the same job awhile. I would say my weaknesses are I get too picky with projects sometimes. Which is kind of a weakness because it can be a time consuming factor but it's also a strentgh because it shows I take pride in my work and I want it done right.
Be honest with your weakness...just don't use a weakness that is completely weak. Use one that could be aslo considered a strength.

Dont say you are a perfectionist, it akes you seem uptight, noboy wants to work with ppl like that. You should pick a weakness you used to have but dont anymore and show how you have improved. For example, for me i would use tardiness. "Punctuality used to be my arch enemy(humorous, but still to the point.) But I am winning the battle by a landslide by changing my clocks and by making sure my work is done before the deadline. For instance at my last job...etc" You dotn want to lie but you dont want to look bad either. So use something that was a problem, and how you battled it out. That is what the interviewer is looking for.

That's a standard question, so it's a good idea to have an answer ready. You don't want to seem immodest, so you should say something -- but nothing too dramatic. I typically focus on something insignificant that wouldn't impact my job performance. And then I try to show that I'm working to improve, or I have improved. Like, "I tend to be too detail-oriented, but I'm working on that." Or, "I'm occasionally too blunt with feedback, but I've learned to be more sensitive to others and I feel like I'm more tactful now." But my favorite: "I'm not very good about turning in my weekly status reports on time. I occasionally have to be reminded."

Tell them you have a tendency to take your work home with you, and if you have a deadline, you sometimes get too wrapped up in it, and spend too much time at the office. Whatever you say, make it sound like a plus for the company!

If you say you're a perfectionist or a workaholic, they will know it's not true and recognize that as a standard answer that the interviewer will want to hear. I just tell them the truth - "i'm very lazy and don't like to work and i prefer to just stay at home and watch tv and surf the net."
