I'm tired of stressful jobs that pay well and wondering if there are easy jobs that do too. Especially ones where you can work almost autonomously, with maybe a bi-weekly update with the boss. I’m looking for anything that pays over $36K per year and more, above 60K would be wonderful!
Anybody out there have a job like I’m describing?

Open your own business!That's the way you can make money as much as you want and you are your own boss.Just believe in yourself and don't do anything stupid wherever you work now until you know exactly how much money you make in your own business.Screw your boss! Is just a game when you work for somebody else why would you care?

Well, thinking off the top of my head, truck drivers deal primarly with dispatchers, but when they're on the road they can drink their coffee and crank up the country music. A lot of computer jobs nowadays have limited supervision with the boss. Hell, I'm unemployed, what do I know.

It depends on what you consider "easy." If it's "easy" for you to paint portraits, then you've got a nice career ahead of you. If it's "easy" for you to sell homes, then check out real estate. But the fact that you need to work means you need to perform tasks needed by employers. There aren't many out there who will pay decent money to someone who won't perform. Have you considered marrying into money?

you should really get an engineers certification. they never do nothing and get paid hundreds a day for it. only down side you have to be away from home alot with most jobs. my ex bf just called me to rub in the fact that since i worked my a** off to get him his certificate he is now making $296 a day. lol don't ya just love people like that. anyway it's easy work and you usually don't have anyone hanging over your shoulder and make a killing doing it.

I understand your problem.
But let me tell you in today's world nothing like joining hands in the webworld and exploring true potentials of Internet commerce.
Few ideas
-Join Adsense
-Make blog
-Invite people (creatively on your site)
-Join as commission agent on various websites.
-Sell, sell, Sell on web everything (pin to plane) on commission
-Make good contents website on any specific website and attract people (there are various tricks which people learn over website)
-Do it with focus, you will definately get good crowd.
Incidently I bumped on this website mentioned below of small town (village) sculpturer in India, who has not only made sculpture website, but making cool money by inviting people to make mopney by asking them to join adsense through his web. (don't know if he really make money by selling is hardcore sculpture). His artwork seems amazing, but who cares?
