I have been looking for a job in my small SW Missouri town for about 3 years now. The problem is that I am a stay at home mom with no work experience and 8 years of college. All of the jobs around here want experience and the ones that don't, want an actual degree. I have some Business Administration and Criminal Justice, as well as 2 years of Forensic Science. When I apply at places like McDonald's or Taco Bell, I am told that I am "overqualified while being unexperienced." I would really like a job to prove myself in the workforce. So, employers, what do I do to get your attention and make you hire someone like me?

Three years ago, I registered with every temp agency in my town. I check in every week, sometimes more than once a week. I have been sent on 2 jobs, one for 3 days, and one for 4 hours :(

start doing some volunteer work to gain experience. Being a stay at home mom requires a great amount of skills, so translate that into some volunteer work, using your organizational, conflict resolution, leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills. Plus you can meet some great contacts volunteering. Remember, let everyone you know, know that you are looking for work. Now use all those skills being a mom and network and get into the outside workforce.

My wife got laid off from a manufacturing company after 28 years. Along with 1,800 other workers. The jobs were shipped to China.

She immediately signed up with 8 temp agencies. And started working immediately. After 6 months of temp work, one of the companies then gave her a fulltime job.

Employers do this now. They hire temps first, to see how you work out, then offer you a full time job.

My wife's co-workers? After a 1-2 year wait, most did not find full time jobs yet because MOST refused to work at temp agencies.
Remember movie Fun with Dick and Jane (new version) where he refused to work anything but full time at his current pay?

Hope this helps.

Give an extended record of names in which you probably did well/a lot paintings (references). You might additionally present the competencies enterprise to exhibit your well (on your own) changed (peers) apartment. Or the like. An alternative is to present to paintings a quantity of days, and say it is loose (or part cost) if after the ones days they don't seem to be convinced. In those first days, you'll exhibit your features. If you particularly desire to have a role at a peculiarly organization, supply them a choice at times to invite if the trouble has converted (and in the event that they now might don't forget supplying you with a role). If an competencies enterprise asks you 'do you've gotten unhealthy behavior': inform them you are slightly a workaholic.

I work from home. I am a single mother of 2 girls. The youngest is disabled. First I teach people how to get their own website that is setup for them and ready to pull in profits. This would be your own website and of course their are hosting fees and domain names that need to be bought. This is the same for anyone who wants to own a website even one that is ready to go for you.

Second, I follow a program I have nicknamed fast money. Both programs are 100% legal and legitimate. This second program I keep on my notepad so if you are interested send an e-mail to abinbizness@yahoo.com with fast money in the subject line. Have you heard about the 15 year old who was in the news because his parents found $15,000 in his closet? That was using this program!

Eight years of college and don't have your degree? Wow. My best advice is to start by finishing up at least one degree program and go from there.
