U pay upfront to load or purchase, you pay to check your balance, you pay a monthly admin fee if U do not use it before 6 months or a year. So If you get one for Christmas and you forget to use it it will be worth nothing the following Christmas.... Don't waste your and my time RIP OFF

I purchasesd a house in Tacoma, WA back in May 2006 for $171k. I currently owe $168k. Based on the online appraisal my house is worth between $175k and $190k. I want to add a two car garage and do some home improvements for about $50,000. My equity is far short of the sum needed. Is there a way to do a new mortgage (with interest rates dropping) to include the price of the home improvements into the house? If there is could you please elaborate. Thank you in advance.

I listed a house for sale the other day... the house is very cute but this neighbor put this broken down house thing built outta wood like a manger which was rotting and broken. It's been there for years along with some camping equipment and sleeping bag and junk. Half of it was on the property and half was on his. the family moved it the other day to his side and now he called me at 10 p.m. and said I broke it... He wants me to have my clients call him because he says it is "irreplacable." he also claims that it was on his property which is clearly not true because the stakes are still in a line and it was 90% on the client's property.
Should I really have my clients call him? Can they get into trouble for moving something off of their property? There is more stuff on their property that they didn't move or deal with. I dont want my clients to go back to their house on the weekend and this guy bully them around.. or vandalize their property or take my sign down. what to do???

I got a call a month ago from a Mr. Church with a collection agency. Telling me about a cc debt from 5 years ago with a balance of 5200. He demanded that in 24 hours or else he is going to get the FBI involved for fraud. I had some credit issues 5 year ago, the balance charged off was about 4k. This freaked me out with the FBI and stuff and i told him i only have 3k in savings from what my grandma left me. He accepted it i had to use TransUnion that day to send the money. What a pain, but guess what i got another call from a Mrs. Saxon demanding a balance of 5200, i told her a Mr. Church took care of it and gave a confermantion number, she said it is unvalid. She was very rude and told me to stop lying and to take care of your problem now or else we will take you to court. What can i do, i dont what the cops to show up arrest me for fraud and still be short 3k

my boyfriend has a couple year old 600.00 cell phone bill he has never paid off.. if he pays that off right now.. do we have a chance of buying a house.. or will that affect him for many years.. even if he pays it off now... the bills about 4 years old and it already went to a collection agency.. like i said if he pays off that 600.00 all right now will that help his credit.. or will it still hurt him for years.. its not like its a very very bad coulple grand dept or anything...

and one more thing... with that unpaid cell bill .. does that mean he has terrible credit.. or just bad..

thanks

Which is a better type of business for a small consulting firm, with two partners, that may need financing in the future? An S Corp, L.L.P, or L.L.C?

I'm getting ready to register a business and after reading and more reading about different types of entities, I'm more confused that before.

Thanks,

I rent an apartment in a gated community in Orange County, California. Every tenant is assigned 1 covered parking spot; open parking spots are available to additional cars on a first come first serve basis. Parking in our community has always been saturated; often, people would have to park along the curb of the narrow apartment drive because all open spaces are occupied by 8:00 PM. Our former apartment manager was good about accommodating parking needs-she assigned herself a less accessible covered parking spot and left the accessible ones to the tenants. She seldom used open parking spaces.
Our new apartment manager is not as considerate as the old one. Right off the bat, she assigned the best open parking spot to herself, thereby taking away one viable parking space for tenants with more than 1 car. Mind you, she is not handicapped. Do property managers have this right to give themselves the best parking privileges at the expense of tenants?

I am desperate, I graduated with a bachelors in Computer Science but have poor communication skills. All jobs require this, and most interviewers immediately disqualify me. I can't get any of the programming jobs because I don't have the experience, so I have been applying for call center, technical support jobs and these require communication the most.

I have no money, have to pay back loans, and probably will have to go to some warehouse and do work side by side with people that have no education and illegal people.

I feel worthless. I know you may be laughing at me.
but I don't know If you could give me any tip or some advice I would be very thankful.

How much do you spend for strictly food items from the grocery food for an average month? I crunched the numbers and found that for just our husband and I we spend $400.00 a month on average. That seems rather high to me and wanted to find out how other households fair. This total does not include any type of eating out or take out. I appreciate you all sharing.

I will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in December, so I have started to send out my resume to a few jobs. The main job that I want, and feel qualified for, has an online application process. I uploaded my resume and answered their questions. I received an e-mail a day later stating that they had received my materials and would keep me updated on my status. My question is: how long should I expect to wait before hearing something from them? I've never applied for a "real" job before so I'm not sure how long it takes for them to make a decision on whether or not to give me an interview or whatever they may decide to do. Thanks!

My husband was in Iraq (oct 05-oct 06) and I did the taxes while he was deployed. Is that true that if your married and (even if you don't have kids), you can get tax exemptions for your spouse? (I don't work) I don't think we've ever had any tax exemptions ($3,300 I've heard) ever since we got married? If that's true, could we get money back for previous tax exemptions of the last 2 years? Let me know!
