Joe, Paul and Frank went out to dinner, the bill came to $30.00, each person put in $10.00. After the check was paid the owner gave them $5.00 because he knew Joe well. The gave the waitress a $2.00 tip, so they each got $1.00 back, so each person only put in $9.00 each. 3x9 = $27 +$2 = $29...SO WHERE DID THE DOLLAR GO!

I am wondering if I should or should not file for bankruptsy. THe Michigan Law changed recently. I know that it will follow me for 7 years. I have over $10,000.00 in medical bills alone. I also owe over $4000.00 to other companies.

How do I go about filing?
What are the Long term drawbacks?

Lets say you go in the Military, you don't need any College experience or training to get in right? But the Military trains you to work for them, to function for them and to become an expert at what you do. Why don't all businesses work the same way? Lets say I'm interested in software, programming etc. Why must I have "prior experience" to work for companies which deal in expertise positions? Why not, instead, hire me into a company "boot camp" and give me the dedicated training I require to be an efficient, top quality employee in the field I request? I've not had the luck or opportunities to get experience in anything, never had parental guidance, never had much of anything. I think if companies had a "boot camp" for new recruits there would be less poverty in the world and more filled job positions. What do you think?

I've never done it before. There was a stock broker who told me one time that there are stocks that can be bought for $100. Is that true? How much do you think it would generate?

The company is not associated with Ameritrust Mortgage. It's suppose to be a secured/unsecured personal loan lender/broker.

Thank you.

I bought a $1000 I bond in 2005. I think the interest rate was something like 5%. What does that mean? Does it stay 5% or does it fluctuate ?

My husband is in the army in Iraq. I had to move to my home town because I'm pregnant. I bought a house there because my realtor assured me that my first house near the military base would sell in a few weeks. I need 135k from the house to break even what I have put into it. I owe Sunflower bank 115K still. Unfortunately, I can't make 2 mortgage payments. The bank said they could do nothing to help. Is that right or is it just because I am a woman? They will not accept interest only even. What if I went a couple of months and didn't pay anything on the mortage? Or what if I just sent them $200 a month instead of the $900 that I owe? Thanks for your answers.

I am a transfer student with an AS in liberal arts and I am sacraficing my deam of becomming a pilot for a job that may have some better security. I was thinking about enrolling in Northeastern University's Speech Pathology/Audiology program. I dont know much about it, but my younger brother is deaf and we have been to many before. Any information on salary? If you enjoy it? Also, what kind of courses do you take, like do i have to take many science labs? They are not always my strong point (I barely passed anatomy & physiology) Also, can you be an audiologist without being a speech pathologist? For some reason every program offered at a college has them grouped together. Any insight would be so awesome.
