I am getting a bonus in my next paycheck. What do I change my Allowances to so that Uncle Sam won't take as much out? I currently claim "1" on my W-4.

There is a new house that has very recently been built, but the house is still empty only the walls are up. I absolutly love the house and want to try to get the plans for it but I'm not sure where to get those at. Next time I drive by I will look for the sign that tells what company built it. My uncle knows the guy who is putting in cabnets for this new house and I was wondering if it was possible for this guy to get with the company who built it and get the plans for it, I don't need those huge plans for the owners of the house just small ones on printer paper or whatever. Also do you know of any websites I can go to to get the plans, because they are public records, aren't they? Any info you have about how to get the plans please let me know. Can I get them at the library? Is that possible?
Thanks--

When an inherited estate is under two family names(a partnership)and there has never been an agreement signed. No one living at property, needs a lot of work. We verbally agreed to sell the home "as is".
When the other party chooses to turn on utilities in there name (NO ONE LIVING THERE) and adds up expenses by chosing to work on the property, without discussing it or without an agreement. They say we have to pay half back to them. My name is on the house deed that's all.
Am I legally liable to reimburste half of the expenses they chose to put into the house when the property is sold, without a signed agreement?

Right now I am trying for a major as a Radiology Technician. However, I am thinking about switching to medical assisting because I think it would fare better for my mental health. After giving it some thought, I am not sure if I am comfortable working with terminally ill patients (especially children) every day.
I looked up medical assistant on the Occupational Outlook Handbook, and it had a lot of positive things to say about the field. However, I would like some real world advice before I make the leap.
1.) Do medical assistants really make decent money? ($30,000 and up?)
2.) Is is easy to find a job in the field?
3.) On a scale of 1-10, how fulfilling is this career?
4.) What are some good things and some bad things about this career?

This is a major decision that I am going to have to make soon, so anyone one with experience in MA and who would like to share there experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I've got to write about slogans, and how they affect us. I was thinking of putting some examples. Help please? I already have a couple. One is from Burger King. Their slogan is "have it your way".

Is it normal to feel uncomfortable? To feel like nobody likes you and your not wanted, even everyone is being friendly(i think). Is it normal to panic under stressful circumstances like:statter or froze when asked?

Many a times have I seen Hanuka (sorry it is spelled wrong) dog toys or ribbons on chocolate boxes for Jewish-Americans, a minority. I have no problem with this...but I have read that there are just as many Islamic-Americans are there are Jews, and never a time can I recall seeing something (a gift card design, etc) catering to Muslims and/or Ramadan...and I also have not heard of any clear reasons to think that Muslim-Americans don't eat chocolate or have dogs or purchase gift cards, etc!

What say you?

im a 2nd year under grad, and I have come to a point where I need to get a student loan. I'm looking to get a loan to cover living expenses, not tuition. Im 18, and dont have credit. I have applied for private student loans with Bank of America, and Sallie Mae. Both have turned me down, saying that I would qualify with a cosigner only. I dont really want to ask anyone to co sign, however I do have a trust fund, which is for an amount greater than I am requesting the loan for. Because of the trust's requirements, I can not have that money until I am 21, so it can not help me right now. Is there anyway I can use that as collateral to get a student loan without a cosigner?
(I have also applied for federal loans, Im just waiting to hear back from the finaid office about how much would be available.)

Car repossession back in 2004. Difference in payment/amount sold is around $4,000. Summoned to court, nothing came out of it. Just ended up having to met with the legal assistant and explain that I couldnt pay it (long story) Was told that it was fine, but interest would still be applied to the bill. Just got a letter saying that it is now $6,000 +. Court date was only a couple months ago. Statutes of limitation for debts in my state is 5 years. Can I wait for the time to run out? What can happen?

So after you pay a bill on your credit card, on the remaining balance they charge ARP? So if balance is $100, and the apr percentage is 20% ( just an example ) would they charge 20 dollars and you're left with $120?

i was on a two year family shared fair and flexible plan with my mom. it was under my name and then she decided (after a year) that she didn't want to be on my plan anymore. we canceled her phone from my plan, and i tried to keep mine, but they didn't have that plan offered anymore.

now when i go to check my balance, they say i owe a $200 cancelation fee, but i think that's unfair since i'm still on sprint, but with a different plan (which wasn't my choice).

what do i do?!

Can you file seperately? Or do you still need to keep filing jointly? Reason I'm asking is because my husband owes back child support, and they will start taking it out of our tax returns, so I was wondering if I can file seperately?

I got a letter in the mail from the bank that says paying our mortgage payment bi-weekly instead of monthly could save us $40,000 to $100,000 in interest and reduce our mortgage term by 7 to 9 years without refinancing. How does this work?
