I recently withdrew some money out of my 401K.
I paid the 10% federal penalty fee for early distribution.
How much more do I have to pay once i file my tax return? (I was told 25% in total, but how much in total does one have to pay the government when 1000 Dollars were withdrawn?)

Charlie Wrangle D, NY proposed a minor tax increase for the rich that have incomes of $200K or more, its a very slight increase. I believe as much money they have the rich can still live a normal life just like the rest of us even if half or their money is paid in taxes.

I have missed W-2 form with a social security number on it. I don't know where it goes to. My question is: Can someone get a job just with a social security number without any of my personal information? Also, will the employer figure out this problem? Will they check ID and social security card when they hire people? I am so worried.

At January 1, 2002, Betty DeRose, Inc. had an allowance for doubtful accounts with a $4,200 credit balance. During 2002, Betty recovered $3,000 from customers that had been written off in the previous year. At December 31, 2002, Betty prepared the following aging schedule:
Accounts Receivable % Uncollectible

not past due $100,000 2%
1-30 days past due 50,000 4%
31-60 days past due 20,000 7%
61-90 days past due 10,000 20%
over 90 days past due 8,000 40%

Based on the above information, calculate the amount of bad debt expense recorded by Betty DeRose,Inc. for 2002.

4,200 + 3,000 - (Sum of percentages * amounts = 10,600) = <3,400>

Right?

1) Based on an aging of its accounts receivable at December 31, 2003, XYZ Company determined that its net realizable value at December 31 was equal to $325,000. Additional information is given:
Accounts receivable, December 31 ............. $360,000
Allowance for doubtful accounts, January 1 ... 42,700 credit balance
Accounts receivable written-off during the year 26,800

Based on the above information, calculate the amount of bad debt expense recorded by XYZ Company for 2003.

360K - 26,800 = 333,200. 333,200 - 325,000 = 8,200?

The tax honesty movement states that there is no law requiring regular working Americans to pay income tax (watch Aaron Russo's "Freedom to Fascism", you can watch it for free on Google). Many say that they don't file. How do you that? If you have a job, your employer takes taxes out of your check, so even if you don't file, you're still paying.

Some people say to file a zero return, which means you don't claim any income (because the Supreme Court has ruled that "income" is gains from corporate or investment activity, not wages from work), but that seems a bit like daring them to come after you.

The courts have failed to convict almost everyone who has fought the IRS on grounds that there is no law requiring them to file. But that is, of course, AFTER the IRS has siezed all their property and bankrupted them with legal fees. In hoping to avoid that, how do you bail out?

If the non-custodial parent has a court order to pay a specific amount each month, but then their income changes, can they still take out the same amount? For example if I was making 1200 a month, but now I am only making 600 a month does my amount of child support change based on my income?? I was told they could not take more than 50% of my gross income. I am making less money now, but seem to be getting the same amount deducted from my paychecks, which leaves me little to survive on. I cannot get a straight answer from the Child Support website and I can never seem to get a hold of the right person who can aswer my question pertaining to my specific case. Can anyone help me?????
Thanks, I appreciate your help.

For example, in El Salvador kids usually begin learning Algebra 1 in the 4th or 5th grade while kids here in America usually start learning it in 9th grade and some even fail it and have to retake it in 10th grade. In summer 2008 I am moving to El Salvador to complete the 12th grade and I am so worried the kids in El Salvador are so far ahead from the ones here in the USA. The only advantage I probably have over them is my English nothing else. Why is it that american education is so bad? Are the kids to blame who usually join social cliques like rocker, prep, ghetto, emo etc. or are the teachers to blame who some don't teach at all and are more worry about getting a raise. or is it the American Education Curriculum?
