I ask questions because I can. Should I stop, because of freedom-loving people like you?

Call the Ryder Rental Company and ask what their contract
says regarding "deposit refund" .... Especially when the truck is NOT returned .... When it is used during the commission of
MASS murders .... and when the truck itself is destroyed
during that crime ... (Why didn't you ask if Timothy had
auto insurance to cover the replacement cost of the truck???
Obviously the LIVES lost CAN"T be replaced!)

Most company's don't actually require a cash deposit ... But
your credit card number MUST be left.

Again .... I would think that ANY deposit refund would only
be applicable IF the truck had been returned without damage!
And obviously .... that was NOT the case!

Of course he lost it! He didn't return it, now did he?

I feel for his family, but they won't be getting a dime from Ryder. Since the vehicle was destroyed in the commission of a crime any insurance would have been null and void. If anything, they'd be getting a bill for the value of the truck. (His estate would owe the money though, not his family.)

You know ... a lot of people including children lost their lives during this tragedy. It is in very poor taste to poke fun at it.

Yes, he lost his deposit.

Why are you asking a question as though you were an idiot? I really doubt that you are.
