I have missed W-2 form with a social security number on it. I don't know where it goes to. My question is: Can someone get a job just with a social security number without any of my personal information? Also, will the employer figure out this problem? Will they check ID and social security card when they hire people? I am so worried.

Contact the social security administration office in your city and they will get you a replacement. Your W-2 has nothing to do with it.

As for not having your social security card to get hired, you will have a very hard time finding someone to hire you without it. There is a form employers must sign (federal time for employees that they hire and don't have this form for) and not many are willing to risk it.

They are supposed to check ID, including social security card, when hiring. Not all employers follow the rules, though.
