Take it one step above what you would actually wear to work there (if possible). Since you would probably be expected to be in a polo shirt and khakis, the minumum for an interview should be a long sleeve button down shirt and dress pants. If you have a tie, it certainly couldn't hurt to wear it.
It is always better to be overdressed for an interview than underdressed. You can only make 1 first impression and they won't have much else to go on before hiring you. If you need some decent dress clothes without spending much, a great place to check is a thrift store like the Salvation Army or Amvets. The clothes are all donated so you should be able to find a shirt, pants and a tie for $10-15 total.

Wear a long sleeve plain colored button down shirt (blue or white is good). Slacks or docker type pants no blue jeans. Leather shoes, brown or black. Not tennies or sandals. Mostly they will only judge you by your dress if you really dress down.
Most important is know what kind of work your applying for and show a genuine interest in it. And to know something about the company. Also, speak clearly, use your best grammar and look them in the eye.
Ok, this may be overkill. Some of what I said may not make much difference. But if you want the job go in well prepared for anything, and you'll have a better shot at it.
BTW, why don't you let us know how it turned out?

A pair of Khaki's and a nice polo shirt. Some decent casual shoes will look good. No Jewelry that is obvious. Also when you interview don't seem too eager. Also if they offer you a job say stocking the shelves I'd take it. So you can eventually work your way to management. Just be honest and hard working.

Business Casual. Button up, tuck in, comb, brush, shave and shower, and spit out that gum :-) Don't look like you just got out of bed and don't dress like you're making a political statement. It's not about the clothes so much as the presentation. Don't wear a band t-shirt, but aside from that, just about anything's okay if it buttons up. (Let's not forget to button it up.) Don't wear blue jeans. If these requirements cannot be met; borrow clothes and have a girl dress you, (for aesthetic purposes). Good luck with your interview.

Business casual. Which means a nice shirt, no tie, and nice pants, but no jeans. Nice shoes, but nothing too fancy. A smile is important as well. Be yourself. A lot of times people try to be something they are not in interviews, and let me tell you they fail. Be honest in your answers, and relax! Good luck!

If you have a dress shirt and slacks or Dockers, that's best. If not, a clean polo shirt. Wear dress shoes, no tennis shoes.
