Alright well basically, I bought a Halo 3 Limitied Edition Xbox 360 controller from this guy on eBay and paied via personal cheque: I sent the cheque off about 3 weeks ago (we are both in the Uk so it wouldn't have taken that long to actually get to him). Yesterday, I started to get a bit worried as to where my controller was, so I check the profile of the guy who sold it to me, and it said "No longer a registered eBay member" or "This member is no longer registered", whatever.

Does this mean that I've been scammed? I was thinking that the seller might have sent my controller to me BEFORE un-registering and it might just be taking a long time, but the question is why the seller would de-register right after making a sale in the first place.

In Iowa - what should you do to pay your taxes - do you reccommend savign money back until tax time or paying as you get the income in... do you reccommend getting an accountant to handle this?? Also, do you reccommend having a separate business bank account to put income from daycare in? Any suggestions appreciated!!

Seeing Euro $$ going up against USD, is it worth putting my money into an Euro account? I am not talking about big money, merely 30,000. The commission in the trading probably eats away the gain, am I right?? thank you!

How do I invest when I am only 19? I want to put my money away somewhere every now and then so I can build interest. I want to invest in stocks, iras, mutual funds, cds, and things of that nature. The problem is I am only 19 and I do not know where to go. I live in a small town. I don't know how the process works to start doing this and I really want to start investing now so I can try to make it rich in the future. I hear if you invest early, you make more money. If anyone could help me by telling me what the first few steps are and what I should do, and if there will be any charges, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have been using an older ERP system which is full of problems. I am trying to get some insight to see if others in the professional enivornment are having the same troubles.

I know there is one ERP system I wish my company would use; I think the full name was Starta Development Inc. Anyways, I'm worried about switching cost and how persuade my colleagues to consider getting a customizable ERP system.

I owe $800 dollars and not sure if I should pay them or let the account go to collection. I also have a bunch of other debt I been paying off. I talk to my debt settlement coach thats handling two of my other accounts and he says I should just let it go to collection instead of paying min, so I can seek a settlement.

It was a plumbing apprenticeship from which I was told 2 weeks prior to being let go that I was doing fine. I think coming into winter they did not have enough work, but they said it was because I wasn't learning fast enough.

My tenants have failed to pay the previous two months rent. I've given all the proper notice and made sure to consult with some real estate attorneys, but in PA the eviction takes place in small claims court. I'm just looking for some wisdom for those who have some experience. Maybe an odd document or item they wish they had brought or something to that effect.

Thanks!

I would like to learn how the TAX system works in the states, so a friend of mine told me to think about taking Enrolled Agent courses. I was wondering if there are FREE enrolled agent courses in this country (U.S.)?

Thanks in advance.

Just wondering what would be common regarding shipping of consignment items.
Who pays for shipping to the store, and from the store back to the seller if the item does not sell?
I was thinking of paying shipping to the store, and if item does not sell in 90 days paying return shipping as well,
but if the item sells then store pays shipping.

Hey.
I'm a Realtor and I want to use the A-Team theme music in a Radio Ad.
Is this possible?
Do you know where to go to get this information?
How much would Royalties like this cost?
How close can you copy the music without infringing on any copyright / royalty laws?
Any help is welcomed. Thank you.

I work for a company in California that has 2 warehouses a mile apart from each other. They pay 150 employees in one of them an average rate of $12.00/hour and 150 employees in the other warehouse an average rate of $17.00/hour to perform the same job. It is not based on sex, but is this still wage discrimination? Any laws that cover this?

I have a job interview next week. I want to find out more about the job first because the last few interviews I have been on have been a TOTAL waste of time and gas.I really should have asked more questions.I want to know what the physical demands of the job are, standing, sitting at a desk, etc., and what amount of time is spent working indoors and outdoors. There is also a minimum level of pay I will accept. But, I do not want to sound difficult. At the same time, I do not want to waste my time or someone else's. Is there a way of phrasing the question, such as, "can you tell me a little more about the job? Will I be at a desk or standing or walking? What percentage of the work day is spent indoors and outdoors?" I looked on the companys website and there is no job description. I looked on job board websites, put in the job title and got different descriptions for the same job from each company.

Our homeowners insurance doubled this year. The cost is really impacting our ability to pay the premium. Every company we have talked to insist that we insure to replacement cost which of course drives the premium through the roof. They say that replacement cost of our home would be over 350,000. We live in a home that is 140 years old and I agree that there isn't enough money to replace the character of this home. We live in the Midwest. We are not in a flood plain and have never turned in a claim in the 16 years we have lived on this property. My question is this. Can we legally insure this home for just the amount that we owe on it? Are there any companies out there that will do this?
I don't mind paying a fair premium but I do mind paying for disasters across this country in which I had no control over.
