In Iowa - what should you do to pay your taxes - do you reccommend savign money back until tax time or paying as you get the income in... do you reccommend getting an accountant to handle this?? Also, do you reccommend having a separate business bank account to put income from daycare in? Any suggestions appreciated!!

to avoid penalties - you'll need to make quarterly estimated payments - an accountant would need to get estimates for your annual income and expenses in order to calculate estimated taxes - a separate business checking acct is recommended

Tax laws are made deliberately complicated so only Uncle Sam understands them. I'd advise you check IRS website and for information about taxes.

Even if you'd get an accountant, it's still your business and you owe it to yourself to know something about it. Getting an accountant to help you set it up is not a bad idea.

You don't want to mix up you personal bankl account with that of the business. Get separate accounts!
