My friend then shows his driver license but even then the cashier refused to accept ---- cashier said name on credit card is too common, and many people have that name.

Friend's name is Joe Smith. The credit card really belonged to him, and even after showing license he is still rejected sale.

who is at fault and what to do in such situation?

Joe says he feels utterly humiliated and harassed by the cashier and is still upset.

I currently HAVE a living trust; however, I want to change it so that my nephew can have the house, and have my daughter "sell" her half to him for 1/2 market value (at the time). I don't want the taxes to change, as I'm currently under Prop 13 (VERY low taxes; new ones would kill 'em). Can it be done? Legally? Do I add him as a trustee NOW? Any help will be MUCH appreciated!

I want to pierce my nose, but I have landed a great job with an attorney as a legal assistant (and am studying to be a paralegal). I do want my piercing to be small, modest and "quiet". Should I ask my boss how he would feel about it (and not do it if he gives me a negative reaction)? Or just do it and hope he wont fire me? Can he fire me for something like that?
Ive seen other girls with piercings and tattoos that work in the industry...I just dont know how my boss will react.

A friend of mine owes me £2000. It's built up from me lending him money. The problem is I've got no proof that I've lent him this money and everytime we fall out he threatens to not pay me it back. He doesnt have a job at the moment and says he'll pay me back when he is working. However I worry that I'm going to lose this money, how can I make sure that I get the money back?
Can I get some sort of legal document written up for him to sign saying he owes me this amount?
If so how do I go about doing this? Any suggestions?
Help!

My husband and I are looking for a house and it's only been 3 weeks, but it is very stressful We have a realtor, but we're looking online for houses ourselves, then driving by the houses to see if we like the locations first before we request a showing. We're getting frustrated because we can't seem to find what we want in a house. We keep getting our hopes up only to see the house in person and find it's not as it appeared on the website. Does anyone have tips? Do we just need to be patient?

So far I've been shot down everywhere I find. I just got hired onto my new job, but don't have any money coming in yet, I've also just recently moved from TX to OK, but I'm back in TX at the moment. I had over two years at my previous job, and I will add that my credit is very poor (I'm considered high risk). Is there anywhere that will loan me $500-$1000 online to help me catch up and use towards moving expenses/bills until my first check comes in? So far everywhere I look I get turned down because of my time at current job, or credit. Is there a loan place for "practically unemployed high credit risk" people?

I am looking to start this bonified business. I am 16 and a half. I will be funding it with my savings of 15,000. The business will probably break even, and I am just doing it for the expereince and learning. It will also be another thing on my resume. There will be 3 employees, 2000 square foot facility, and 40,000 gross revenu. How much would this affect the outlook a collage has on me. Could I use this to help me get into a good collage? What do you think?
