Feel free to browse thru the attached Singapore govt. website. It is very pro business and welcomes foreign investments. I've also included a site set up by expats working in Singapore, and the World Bank site which ranked Singapore no. 1 for both 2007 and 2008 for doing business in S'pore. There are only 2 things you need to remember in S'pore - no drugs and no guns.

There are more than a few...for dealing with any sort of foreign business. You need to have at least a small understanding of the general demographic, and especially the culture in that area. Do a search online, there are several sites you can find this sort of information.
